having a problem!!!!

i have had my imagine for about a month now and love it but i just got it out tonight and its screwed up.......i would change it to automatic and it would fire about 5 shots them automaticly switch to semi again the same was happening with 3 round burst i would set it fire about 2-3 burst then would switch to semi and if you ask yes i have used it recently, my friend and i just went to a local field 2 weeks ago and was working like a charm

actually i think that the battery is either not charged enough or itd just dying out. ive had this problem when my battery wasnt charged enough. even my friend warned me bout htis problem when i bough tit from him.
