Charging the battery question

Tomorrow im going to the forest, for a weekend game, so i have 2 extra batterys for my Mr2, my stupid question is... the marker swith has to be in the off position to charge the battery? =S thanks

yea. im pretty sure that you have to have it off. i know that once you plug it in you can not turn it on. imo its a good feature.
