Damn man that looks good...sorry no help with your firing issue.

I bet your are having issues with the eyes. They may not be aligned correctly. What I would do is check to see if it cycles correctly with the eyes off.

I'm not seeing that the eyes are installed. Good call Dre.

Looks good, do what Dre said and let us know. Then also let us know what you've tried and what your board settings are.

Thanks guys,

ok, i fixed it. the board came with the dip switches set to off.

I fired it and fires really well. its the first high-end gun ive shot(if you consider it high end?). it fires very fast, very far and very accurately.

i havent had eyes drilled yet but i will when my electra is bought.

Sweet marker, it looks very good...

Just remember, set your LPR to between 75 and 85 PSI and then, leave it alone. If you set it in that range, then you should have NO problems with the marker related to the LPR..

It looks sharp, I am liking the Red and Black..

Nice job, looks toit! - ;)

02-23-2007, 07:36 PM
will the lpr at 90 hurt it.

Drefish99
02-23-2007, 07:59 PM
75- 80 PSI should be the most. 90 is a little high and may hinder the performance of the noid having to run that high. If you are having pressure problems I recommend upping the dwell to compensate for an LPR pressure that is too high.

Oscum Guy
02-23-2007, 08:05 PM
how do i change the dwell.

i know nothing about timmies. lol. even tho i built one.

Drefish99
02-23-2007, 08:07 PM
You do that through the board programming. First things first is find out what type of board you have then get the manual. Then you can find out how to adjust the dwell.

alright il email ANS. it has 5 dip switches.

what does the dwell do?

what does the dwell do?
dwell is the amount of time the bolt is in the forward position, therefore how long the bolt is releasing air down the barrel.

clean spimmy i like the red/black

Me likey too...might wanna invest in some grips, as IMO they look out of place. But hey, if you like 'em, don't. :D

First time I shot my Spimmy it was a freaking blender. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then I realized the eyes were off. Turned them on and it ripped. Get those eyes drilled and I'm sure you'll be amazed. I haven't had 1 chop since.

Oscum Guy
03-09-2007, 06:10 PM
alright ill find a place.

yeah, i just started shooting and then paint started pouring out of the pores in the barrel and no paintballs wee coming out. i took off the barell and there was like 10 paintballs stuck in it.

Theheroguy
03-28-2007, 01:15 PM
get eyes just because you can (I would)

Oscum Guy
03-28-2007, 01:54 PM
i will. but im gonna get a ANS warrior feedneck, sticky grips and a trigger first.
i think ill get a cp trigger if its not to much.

btw, what does adjusting the ram cap do?

08Lud08
03-28-2007, 02:47 PM
it adjust how far forward and backward the bolt sits, You want to set it so the paintballs don't roll back and cant be seen with the eyes but you don't want to set it too far forward that you get more chops from pinches.

TheRedBarron
03-30-2007, 03:11 PM
Get eyes. They are the single best upgrade you can get for any marker that does not have them.

Oscum Guy
04-06-2007, 06:30 PM
i decided to get the ndz feedneck instead. i picked it up today. i think i made the right choice yo.

sry for dbl post... but i drilled eyes yesterday... and they work! pics when i get covers and new grips.

will sticky 3s fit on a timmy frame? sticky 2s do not fit on it.

camo911
04-12-2007, 02:17 PM
Sticky 3's should work because i have a set on my 2k2 timmy:) , but they may need modding to fit right

Stick the gun in my face why dont you...:dodgy:

Haha. nice vid. You should say hi next time ;)

Oscum Guy
04-14-2007, 01:23 PM
it was so slose to the camera because i was filming it myself and sitting on steps if thats what you mean.

maybe you will hear my voice in the next vid. lol.

if i make a wooden box and put blankets in it can i shoot paint into it and they wont break like reballs? i can get a paint video this way.

lolz, i tried to make a custom trigger today because i dont like mine. i think later ill try to make a scythe trigger with wood.

bamf-hacker
04-14-2007, 08:14 PM
Like the Spimmy!!!

The box idea is nice, but wont work. Paint will break on itself when you shoot into the box.

Is it possible to cut off the back of the bolt? It doesn't look too great IMO.

Lookin good though.

Oscum Guy
04-15-2007, 07:20 AM
yes i would cut it off but i dont know how far to cut. maybe ill try today.

no custom trigger of wood, decided it would break too easily.

Oscum Guy
04-15-2007, 10:57 AM
I just cut the bolt about 1.5" off of the back. i think it turned out well. ill sand some more when i get a hlod of some 1000 grit sandpaper.

Oscum Guy
04-15-2007, 05:52 PM
yes the flash on the camera makes the lines disapear but the lines are visible in the shadow. it like the best thing in photobraphy since paintball.

whaddya think about the bolt cut?

edit: new pics as of 4/17
