I was going to buy a J+J Ceramic barrel 16 inch and someone said that a 16 inch barrel was to big for speedball.

I was wondering if it was good for speedball or not....If its not then should I get a 14 inch?

Its fine. whoever said that must not know what they are talking about.

Over 16" is pointless. ;)

personally i like the 14" best if ya 16" its not bad
might use more gas then a 12 or 14 tho

I think 16" is too big. I'd go 14". 16" isn't going to get you any better accuracy and its going to waste more air than a 14".

I prefer 12" but 14" works jsut as well.

Personal preference though.

14 is what i like best.there wont be much of a differance in accuracy but you will get a little more distance...or at least that is how it works for me.a 16 would be better for a back player imo.

14" is all you need. It also gives the best overall performance. Its still a smaller barrel, but you get better accuray than a 12". So its easier to hide and to still hit your target.

16" lets you wrap around bunkers a bit tighter, or push through brush a bit further in the woods. It's not as bad as it seems. I, however, prefer a 12-14" barrel.
