View Full Version : Receiver, Striker and Bolt Problem

Yesterday I dissasembled my '05 Electra to clean it and lube it just to find out that the striker bolt made major "scratches" inside the receiver. The cocking bolt was also "scratched" in the top, almost all the way from back to front. I always clean and lube my marker after every use, with the proper marker oil. The striker o-ring is in good shape and is the one that came with the marker (my Electra has only 3 months, used 5 times), what could have caused those "scratches"? Is that normal? What can I do to fix it if it can be fixed? Thanks and pardon my english, I usually speak spanish.

Scratches on internals of spyders is very normal, yet annoying.
It sucks but it just happens.

Is it normal when they are like 1mm or 2mm deep?

Ya I'm pretty sure. Mine have about that sliced in them.

Oh, well you figured my feelings, I was very annoyed until now, thanks for the reply. Also where on the internet can I find replacement parts for my electra (e.g. o-rings, internals, screws etc)?

I'm pretty sure any online store should have them. Actionvillage, firstcall and maybe you can call Kingman up and see if they got anything you need.

Pretty Much every stock replacement part found on a spyder right here (http://www.sundragonpps.com/paintball_spyder_repl_parts.html)
