ok i was playing some speedball last night and everything was going swell with my 05 electra.. i would chop some paint every now and then but thats not the big deal.. towards the end i would only pull the trigger once but it would shoot like twice or something.. sometimes burp. but i was full on air so thats not the case. aslo my hopper batteries were dying if that might have anything to do with it.. so can anyone tell me what might be the deal?? thanks

Sounds like trigger bounce to me.

do you really thing that might be? cuz my trigger is pretty sensitive and it was kinda cold out so my fingers were cold and were carelessly pulling the trigger...

yes, it was most likely trigger bounce. just try adjusting the trigger with air in your marker until it doesnt shoot more than once when you pull fully and partially.

When it happens does it un-cock or shoot then make the burp noise and while its making the burping noise it shoots another one?
Where you pulling the trigger back all the way cause when I don't pull it back all the way it will shoot a few times.... It scared me the first time.

usually when it happens it will chop the second ball or sometimes it will burp.. mostly chop though...

Were you using CO2?
If it was pretty cold out and you were using CO2, that could be the issue. Otherwise, I'd adjust the trigger a little bit.

Yea... Co2 Can get SUPER cold...One time i was shooting with Co2 in cold weather and my bolt was frozen...

Do you have any aftermarker parts on your Electra, or is it all stock?

You may want to try lubing the marker up a bit, then dry fire it to see if that helps at all. might not hurt to put a dab of lube on the bolt as well.
also, check to make sure the LPC is tight as well. (Thats the tube right under the barrel). When the gun is aired up and cocked or uncocked, do you hear any air leaking somewhere inside, or do you feel it leaking to the outside?

no its nice and tight.. i think it was just trigger bounce actually.. but thanks for all the help!
