I was getting my guns ready for a shoot this weekend and figured I'd snap off a few pic's of my other passion...
First one is my Springfield 1904 25-06

I like shooting golf balls at 700 yards with this baby.

Next is my .458 Win Mag. This one started out as a bush gun for Grizzly hunting when I was living in Alaska and evolved from there.

First time I shot this baby it almost put me on my arse. I put a round through an old 350 chevy engine block and it went through the block, crank and out the otherside with about a 6" exit hole. When my M4 gets back from the gunsmith I'll throw a pic of that in too.

The most powerful rifle I've ever shot would have to be an old M1. That thing was nasty. I kept the shell as a souvenir :)

I can stick my ring finger in the bore of the .458...and yeah call before stopping by :D, when I get old, Ok really old I plan on moving back to alaska and posting signs, "trespasser's will be shot, surviors will be shot again". :D

Well yeah. Good god. I would be scared to see that that does to grizlies.. yet alone humans. That would rip a man in two. :shudders:

Wait, do you really shoot golfballs at 700 yards? Prone, crouched, or standing position?

Prone supported, I'm too old and shaky too hold her steady enough too get a clean shot at that range.

Both, although there isn't much worth shooting at here in Cali. We can hunt whitetail and wild pig on base but other than that its mostly water foul.

Ok, because if you could do it any other way I would be REALLY scared. I would also ask you if you had ex military training lmao.

Actually I'm still in the military, but I learned how to shoot as a Kid.
