I have been thinking about getting one of these and was reading on PBReview and seen people talking about not "Short-Stroking" what is that? And would you reccomend it over the other Trilogy Autocockers?

And would you reccomend it over the other Trilogy Autocockers?Short stroking is when you pull the trigger halfway and it chops. Well trilogies arent bad to begin with. So if you want one, I'd recommend one.

I was just about to get an Ion when I started to look at them. So 2k4 Vertical or Trilogy Pro. And what Autococker is that on your avatar is that a Trilogy?

I was looking at this one too.

The one is my avvy is a trilogy pro. I'm about to turn it into a pump.
I've owned Trilogy, Ion AND the 04 prostock. I've liked the trilogy the most, but its preference.

If you want to shoot fast, Ion is the way to go. If you want a simple and easy to maintain gun go with either cocker. Trilogies are more easy but the 04 prostock isnt hard at all.

So you can't shoot fast with an Autococker?

I've seen the trilogy comp shoot fast stock. Its jsut the matter of not shortstroking.

Also theres eblades for autocockers, which is pretty obvious. They are pretty good, but kind of expensive.

You also have Racegun frames and what not, Autocockers are very fast. For $200 you also have the Lasoya Promaster, much better than the Ion for the same cost.

The Autocockers stock compared to an electro of that price range will be slower of course because they're mechanical. I'd look into a used Autococker though. I've seen some with E2's go for $300 on eBay.

The Trilogies are nice, just aren't as upgradeable as a traditional Autococker since they use a whole new set up pneumatics. Also I wouldn't get anything other than the Trilogy Pro because the other two have a single finger hinge frame.

They're $200 on www.orderpaintball.com

Yeah, the Ion is now officaly not worth it's price. Unless if they drop the price down to $150, which would in turn lower every other marker price too. That'd pwn!

I get them for $150 - But thats because I run my own business.
But yeah... lowering the prices on ion would drop like every marker down.
