I was wondering what i might need to make my spyder victor use 12g cylinders instead of the tanks.

no offense, but it would basically use the whole cartrige for a shot or atleast a few shots....
why would you want to do this?

i really dont see the point in doing this because the victor isnt a pump which youd use the 12g's for. But anyway if you wanted to switch over from co2 tanks then you have to buy a new ASA for the 12g's. BUt why go through all the trouble if you really want to use 12g's than buy a pump marker. I'm pretty sure

Just buy a remote if u dont like the tank sticking out/ or find it uncomfomterble. 12g would equal less than 10 shots barly.

you would need one of these to make the simplest conversion. im not really sure what the proper term is for them, but i googled 12g adapter for that pic

you could screw it into your regular asa, or into a vertical adapter (which, since you shoot a victor, you would have to buy, also). i would suggest getting a VA and screwing the adapter into it. you'd save a little weight and get rid of the bottomline, which would be more like a pistol. it'd be cool if you rigged up some kind of horizontal bottle adapter so the 12g adapter was parallel to the barrel. that'd make it more pistol like, but it'd have drawbacks, like pouring liquid co2 into your marker anytime you arced your shots.

but anyway that 12g adapter is what you would need.

Like has been said, you'll get only maybe 10 shots off each 12gram, not worth it IMO. You could get a 3.5 or 4 oz. tank if you want something small. Maybe 200 shots off one? Good luck with your conversion!

You can also screw the tank in vertically where the expansion chamber is now.

otter's used a cartrige with a custom built horizontal adapter. victors had a weird plug in place of the VA for the bottomline. you could just get a new VA and stick in a small bottle

If you want an 12g changer i have one i could sell you since i dont use it ever. That would make your gun REALY light but you would not get many shots. 1 shot 1 kill mode.
