I'm not sure about the speed aspect, but, if you want a great barrel for accuracy, get a HammerHead. Go to http://www.hammerheadpaintball.com and check out the barrels. Also, click on and download the "Products Summary" which is a ".pdf" flyer with all of their barrels, fins and shrouds etc. I play with nothing but my three Hammerhead barrels and I love 'em. I can tag someone's head or hand from about 100' every time.

First, I wouldn't go any bigger than 14", 12-14" are good sizes. Custom Products makes a good barrel so go down to 14" and you should be good, bigger than 14" you are just goint to waste air. More important than how long the barrel is and who manufacturers it is what is the bore size. Paint to barrel match is the most important aspect when you are trying to be accurate. Otter does a great job at explaining this on his site so I suggest going there and reading up. http://www.ottersccustoms.com/barrels.html
