Hi! Ok this time im back with an old question: how to "single trigger" the stock mr1 trigger frame?

I want a single trigger frame but there is absolutely no option out there, can someone help me?

I also can transform the stock mr1 trigger frame to cut down the trigger and bend the finger guard, but ill need a backup trigger frame.

Can someone sell me his original stock trigger frame so i can work on this project without the fear of messing my gun?

Have you tried ordering from Spyder? Go to your local paintball store and ask them if you could make a special order through them.

Actually they used to make single trigger frames for the spyder, might be able to find one on ebay or something. I don't think they sold them sperately, but they had them on older markers. You could probably pick up a whole used old marker for cheaper then a new frame would be.

Edit: here we go http://cgi.ebay.com/CLASSIC-KINGMAN-SPYDER-PAINTBALL-MARKER_W0QQitemZ150081023125QQihZ005QQcategoryZ160 48QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Not positive the frame would work, but it looks like its around the same dimensions as newer frames. I don't think they've changed them.

I already have tried kingman to see if older trigger frame would fit with a negative result, the ony single trigger frame avalaible from older markers have different threadings and will not fit the mr1.

According to them, the one i wished, the single trigger metal frame with m-16 grip, does not fit.

From then, no one have tried wich older frame work on the mr1, except some other double finger frames. If some of you have both the mr1 and another older kingman marker, it would be very nice to report in this post, wich one fit, and wich dont.

My idea of modding the original frame is to cut the trigger, and cut the finger guard to later bend it in order to form a sinlge trigger finger guard. But if i fail, i have no more trigger frame. I need a backup.

I will look forward to see if kingman sell the mr1 trigger frame individually.
Meanwhile, ill wait for your observations on older trigger frames.

If you email otter, I know he has many older spyders aswell as newer ones, he could probably tell you if the older frames worked on newer guns.

Threadings wouldn't matter between two frames, because the screws don't actually screw into the frame, they only hold it on, so my guess is that either the position of the sear is different or the frame is differently shaped or screw holes aren't in the same positions. Thats just on the assumption that the older frames aren't compatible. I'd still email otter to verify that.

Talked to otter, he says a classic frame WILL work with an MR1.

I dont get it why kingman customer service said no to the same question maybe they wanted me to buy a rocking trigger?

I guess all i need to do now is to find one. Thanks.
