I'd save my money over that year, sell the Pilot when I had all said money and get an Ego or Timmy.

not all, some angels won't chrono below 300 with a HP tank, its a hit or miss thing.

Going off what you have now I would save the money get a used high end gun and a halo or pulse.

no. with a spyder you need the HP tank because of the pressure it operates at. if you were shooting an EP gun you would need a low pressure tank if it doesn't have a reg of it's own to drop down the input pressure. I don't think an LPR would be able to tolerate a stepdown of 700 or more PSI either.

however ALL EP guns DO have regs capable of lowering the pressure from 850 psi from the HP tank to the presure the gun operates at. the LPR only lowers the some of the air pressure so it can run through the noid.

Nope. The only ones I can think of like that are the older Angels with pre-G7 regs. And that problem is fixed by flipping a couple things inside the regulator.

Druid, ICE Epics only appeal to some... I don't think many people would like them.

If I had that much, and a year for it to fully come in, I'd wait until the '08 model markers came out. They will drive the prices of everything else down, and will make it so you can get some even better stuff for the same price. If I had a thousand bucks right now and was new to the sport, I'd be looking at a Reloader B (Pulses are having too many problems with their shells right now), a 68/45 (or not, since you're already getting one....), a set of Proflexes/Grills, a C5 set of clothes, some good Nike cleats, and a Shocker NXT/PM7/DM6/Borg/'05 Ego. It's just my personal preference and orientated towards a more rough, tournament style of play. If you play rec ball, it'd be a completely different story.
