maybe about 100-200 shots before the solenoid starts getting weaker and eventually it wont trip while the bolt is cocked back.

no, get a kingman battery, they are 9.6 volts, not 9v, you are better off getting a java battery

about 700-1000 shots on my imagine frame. the stock works much better
though.
ps when you put in a new 9v, the low bat light will come one but it still shoots.

my e-99 that my son uses runs all day on a standard 9v. and my daughters dragunfire runs for weeks. we play ecery sunday and between the 4 of us in this house(My daughter,2 sons and me) we will shoot at least a case and half of paint usually 2 cases. I shoot almost if not a case by myself.

any chance I could use one in my VS if the 9.6 goes dead?

most likely it will do the same as my pilot. I get one game out of a new 9 volt then it is dead. the new boards are just meant for 9.6 volts.

Two of my sons friends use 9V in Pilot ACSs. They get about 2 days of play out of them. Approx. 2000 rounds.
