What's this empire reg? Not sure I've heard of it, or maybe I'm losing my mind.

The best for both air systems would be Palmer's Stab, then the Torpedo. The Ergo was a good little reg as well for awhile...

I've used mine with both CO2 and N2. Way back when I was searching for a reg I e-mailed otter and asked him what he thought of it.(Empire) He recommended it, I've had no problems with it. I like it that it has a bottom feed instead of a side one.

does it help with efficiency?on co2 and hpa?

No reg really helps noticeably with efficiency unless you convert to lp. It will help with shot to shot consistancy since it will prevent pressure spikes when using CO2. You may be able to crank down from 800 to 600 with a stock gun and still maintain velocity, but you might need a spring kit to better dial it in. Just a side note; the CP is a great unit and has a bottom line in also.

i heard the cp isnt as good with co2

That I'm not sure about. One thing is for certain, anyone who stays in the sport and/or gets serious about playing, almost always switches to HPA.

i will eventually but ritenow i am stuck with co2 and thats why i need one for both

Hmmmm, never heard of that Empire reg. I used a torpedo on my spyder, then later on my T1. They come stock on Intimidators, so they can't be all that bad, right? Mine was very consistant and extremely easy to care for. I loved it and actually thought of putting it on my Shocker, but then I took my Ritalin and left it alone....

I still vote for the Palmer's Stabilizer (moy expensive) or the Torpedo, but only because I know how they work.
