I haven't posted in here in a while... 56k, bugger off!

Welp, I realized I haven't let most of you guys into my recent stream of markers. No, I'm not gonna tell you what it is yet. That'll come in a little bit after I start talking. If you don't care for my blather, scroll down to the pix already! I ended up trading my Promaster for a Mag (known as Amanda, now... ;), and traded that for an Ion, then sold the Ion and Mag to get my newest marker... Some of you have been in on this throughout, via the chatroom (being in the 'circle' pays, sometimes!).


After being markerless for a little bit, I finally had enough moolah to get an older high-end gun for a nice price. Originally I was gonna get an Alias, but that deal fell through. I decided to go with my fall-back, this Shocker. Yes, you might have seen it before (10 brownie points and an e-cookie to the first person who knows who I got it from that WAS NOT told by me or the original owner, AND can link to it! If you know the orignal poster, the second part shouldn't be too hard. Yes, 'twas on these boards... Only one like it I've seen pass through here so far! :)). It has a broken on/off switch, and I accidently brokethe female connector off the lower board, too, so I have to replace those parts before I even can turn it on. But, on the flipside, I've almost got the trigger right where I like it, so when it does get turned on, I know it'll rip! :D

I also have picked up a new carbon fiber tank recently, a 68/45 Apocalypse 2k. Great, long rail on it so I can make it as short as a 45/45 (almost), or as long as a reverse dropped 68/45. I <3 it! Gonna run it somewhere between 400 and 550 psi just because I can. Pictures are taken with my new camera I got for Christmas, a HP Phtosmart E327. Not the best camera by any means, but it blows Druid's webcam outa the water. :D Part of the bad quality was just me wanting to get some quick shots to post them up. I'll try for better ones later.

Oh i know i know!

Nice gun, but the only thing i dont like is the trigger color. I think a red would be a little cooler IMO

next time dont break off all the parts ;P

Thanks guys! I can't wait to shoot her. :) I think I'ma pop a NOX bolt or an Eigenbolt in it to fix efficiency issues, as both will produce 1500+ shots (1800+ for the Eigenbolt). Another thing I'm looking at is the possibility of a snatch grip. Off field, I hold markers by their tails, and this one has nothing to grab onto with my Zeggy where it is. Any thoughts on that, or should I not waste the money on the snatch-grip?

And yes, Leed... 'tis a classy marker. ;)

Welcome to the Shocker family! If you put some time in it, it'll treat you great.

Don't waste money on a snatch grip - they're easy enough to hold without one.

Eh. I dont really like silver/red. Although... I'm going to be doing a gunmetal grey/black anno when I get my shocker (Hopefully this summer... also hopefully a cheap hybrid one :) ).

Trigger = red.
Freak back = anno red
Tip = anno silver
insert = anno silver
Better asa?
Maybe some red/grey hybrid grips too.

Thats what I would do anyway.

Other then that, looks pretty nice. (not a fan of those shocktech feednecks though)

The shocktech feednecks are nice, the knob makes it easy to turn without tools.

The pewter/red fade is awesome. I've never seen another one in person or posted on PBN.

O rly, Chris? I hate the POS feedneck, other than it allows me to use a wrench and looks good. It doesn't tighten enough otherwise.

And a better ASA? Hah... it's a regulator/on-off... And I can't change it without changing the tank's reg. I like it plenty, so it's deffinitely staying. I like how the color looks, it's more of a grey than a silver. You'd have to see it first hand. It's an awesome anno, and the only better one I can think of is the Stoned Assassin's. I think I might try looking for red Stickies, but I'm deffinately not getting Hybrids... too uncomfortable for me.
