The title may state otherwise, but the discussion has been going on here on this thread.

how many o-rings does it have? and is it really that much of a gas hog?

Mine just has 2 orings , that third one seemed like it would wear the detent out quick . I dont think mines a gas hog , I shot around 1200 balls on one 20 oz

I have the low blow bolt myself I am the one that started the last thread, I myself and a buddy has the low blow bolt, mine in my mr2 and his in the mr3, we both only got the 2 orings, because I spoke with alamo city bolts about the 3rd oring and he did tell me that it would cause damage to the detents over time, everyone here already knows that the mr2 and 3 have weak detents, so why add more things to the gun that would cause them to fail. As far as the gas hog issues, I dont really recall having any when I play, how ever I didnt see any gains as far as back spin anything that alamo city offers with their low blow bolt. In the future I will be buying their regular mr1/mr2 bolt with two orings on it and having that for a back up or maybe even to due a comparision of the two. You could also pm pbgrandpa here has a alamo city bolt with 3 orings but he did remove the 3rd because of the detent I believe. Just my 2cents and experience.
