Well as many of you already know I got a new truck back in early November. Definitely much happier with the truck than I was with the Mustang. I got new tires on it today and waxed it over the weekend so I figured now was a good time to show it off.

Specs:

1999 Nissan Frontier V6 King Cab 4x4 SE
K&N Air Filter
UWS Toolbox
JVC headunit (same as the Mustang)
General Grabber AT2 31x10.50-15's

I wish I had taken pics of it with the other tires. The stock's were 235/70R15's and the owner before me put 265/70R15's on it. But they were PUNY for off-road..so I took the step up. These are the biggest tires I can fit on the stock suspension.

Thanks guys. I really like the way the new tires turned out..made it look like a totally different truck.

Next thing I'm going to get is 35 percent window tint, and then probably add a leaf to the springs in the rear..other than that I don't really have any plans for it. I like the way it is now.

Edit: Slob that wasn't my sister, I had Ariel in the Stang...:dodgy:

Eh..... There are much better tires out there for like the same price range.

Couldn't afford the BFG's. They are identical tread patterns, though. With BFG's you're really paying for the name..I mean I know BFG makes a great tire, but these are identical..just 35 dollars cheaper per tire.

As for the Browning..I myself don't have one yet. Hopefully for Christmas next year or possibly my birthday I will get a Browning Silver 12 gauge. My dad has an A-5 and he just got a BAR .30-06 for Christmas. I really got it just to show I like to deer hunt lol.

I'd put a sticker on it but the sticker doesn't fit anywhere...lol. And we're getting ready to close the store I believe..

Thats always the rule.

D, now you can't wash it for like a year so you are real redneck!

durrell
01-03-2007, 11:38 AM
Haha..too late for that. I always wash immediately afterwards because of problems in the past with mud getting into the brakes, transmission, etc..and I can't afford to have this truck break down because it's my daily driver. If it was an old junker I'd just leave it looking like that cause it looks sooo sweet lol.

Ladies love country boys

hoppy, like i said, we have new rims (http://nkazmers.tripod.com/Wheels1.jpg) now. and the ONLY reason we have the camper shells is for the 2 hour road trips to my grandparents... oh, and the tires in the pics are 33"s.

im actually debating on selling it as soon as we get back since my dads ordered a new one (black F-250)

Nice truck dude. Not a huge truck fan.. I like Jeep's better... (Wrangler's/Rubicons FTW) But Nissan engines will give you a good run for your money. All those Jap cars last a long time on the engines. The bodies on the other hand... well at least they are making better ones now. (Toyota trucks have a bad rep of having flatbeds that rust/rot rather quickly.)

The body is as solid as it can be. The only problems I have right now are:

Transmission feels a little sluggish, I don't know if it has ever been serviced and I'm at 90000 miles right now. Definitely a top priority.

My headliner is falling..that's a cheap fix though. It's probably one of the most annoying things about the truck..it rattles constantly.

There's an exhaust leak somewhere and it makes a hissy noise when I press the gas..it's not loud, bit loud enough that I can hear it. I don't think the owner who had it before me cared much about any of it, it has some scratches where he took it hunting in the woods. But as soon as I get the money I'm going to take care of all of that..

Yeah..I guess you're right. I'm not worried about those, but the transmission worries me the most cause if it goes down I'm screwed.

I love that place :dodgy:

I only take my car in to get the oil changed because I know the owner of the shop in Lowell so all I do is pay for oil and I don't pay anymore then I would if I was doing it myself, and Im lazy so this also compliments me.
