Just got some new parts from AlamoCityPb today! Although they don't have it on their site yet, I was able to get them ;)

Delrin Sleeved striker just like their previous versions, but something's missing... can you figure it out? ;) Oring! New design that it has a good enough seal that it doesn't need an Oring! Noticeable difference in weight.

Looks like they cupped it to it's max on this one, so there should be a difference in efficiency numbers.

Bolt is the same as all their other bolts, but they just changed how the hole was designed on the VS(moon shaped) to a full size hole thus increasing flow.

Here's the bolt and striker put together.

Just made another video with the new AlamoCityPB Internals. Quite impressed really. Don't expect much excitement out of the video, just did what I had to do, and also used Co2 just to prove that you can use Co2 on the VS Series(Though I still recommend HPA for long term use). No paint or HPA 'til next week. Enjoy :)

this is pretty sick
i have never heard of a delrin sleeve for the striker
sounds like a good quality mod combined with the new cocking delrin bolt
did you have to buy an entire new striker, or do you have to mod the original?
and the top cocking bolt, does the size change of the whole at the bottom really make a difference compared to the cresent shape of the original bolt?

The bolt and striker are from www.alamocitypb.com but are not available for purchase yet. ;)

As for the bolt, yes it does make a difference. Roughly a 20fps difference.

dangit opt, now you make me want to get one even more. But i'm going to be stuck at college for another 4 months starting next week. :hoppingmad:

O well, i'll be done with classes by mid-april, way before high schools are out. :D

where do you play by the way? I live in south arlington but stay on campus at UT Dallas during the semester (gotta love the scholarships there). I've played at xdrenaline Zone, Hit and Run, and DFW Pro.

Nice man.... Do a video of you taking the gun apart and back together again, so I can refer the peeps to that. I have been getting a lot of how do I get my gun back together questions lately.

Sure, I'll try making one today or tomorrow. Complete disassembly correct?

Hey Opteron. Needed to ask u somthin. I got the bolt and striker 2day and as for the bolt there are no problems. For som reason though, somtimes wen i pull the trigger, the ACP striker doesnt go forward. The kick is well reduced though and its still cocking fine but somtimes the sear doesnt trip the striker forward but with the stock one its alrite. Did u hav ny problems like this? Tnx for the help

Have you checked that your battery is fully charged? Possibly the point where the sear catches on the Alamo City striker is deeper than with the stock one. If this was true it'd take a bit more power to trip the sear far enough. You could also try shimming the solenoid with a dime or a penny. Take the grips off and put the coin behind the big silver cylinder than moves back and forth when you press the trigger.

battery is fully charged and......nope still doin it. the bit where the sear catches the striker is about the same depth bt i think that on the stock, it is slightly, VERY SLIGHTLY, slanted . mayb i shld file the ACP striker bit a bit. :( i'll keep trying though and has nyone got ny further updates? tnx for the help! oh, love the marker btw lol. gt 18 folk out yesterday at the field!!! :D:D:D hehe, ma mate didnt no wat hit him!

If you have to fix your marker after installing a new part, what's the sense in adding it in the first place? -

Opteron-O3
03-05-2007, 05:28 PM
lol, I never actually had striker problems. So I'd have to say you need to charge your battery.

[To dragon] wel the marker itself didnt brake wen I installed the striker . the sear just wasnt tripping the striker at high rates of fire and wen shot at slow speeds, the kick was noticably less so i guess its up to the individual wheter he/she wants to go ahead and add the part but for me, lol, charged the battery and is workin fine now. hehe, silly me :S tnx for all the help evrybody!

ACP Delrin striker is an awesome upgrade, just some tuning maybe required to get efficiency up to par.

PBBLITZ

^^^yeh, i foun that the pressure had to be upped a bit on my marker to get it recocking but its not a mind blowing adjustment. The pros far outweigh the cons IMO

Theheroguy

man I bet that tuning would be easy with a t-board

Actually, just changing the valve spring will do the trick ;)
