well the stock barrel has the same honing etc. as the UL, so i dont see the point of spending $100 on a new one. i love the stock barrel :) it shoots darts.

I was thinking when I saw that, could use a new barrel, but point made. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Nice gun.

So true, the stock trix barrel is amazing. I loved my DM3 but it was really heavy, shoots amazing though, gotta love a Matrix :)

yeah, it is on the heavy side, but i dont really notice it on the field at all. i just love how smooth it shoots, with absolutely no kick, and just the feel in general. i think its an even trade off.

its alright. i have more confidence in the rip drive now that its not plastic/easily breakable. i havent noticed much of a performance advantage with the drive cone, but again, i dont have to worry about it breaking.

i was liking the rip on the outside, the cone seemed second rate to some ive seen.
