We should make a sticky with all the ion ups, pbnation style.

On a Kingman Spyder forum we should make an Ion sticky? I hope your joking. Nothing against the Ion but don't think this would be the place for that. Anyway that pretty cool to hear they are making a step in the right direction with the cocker threads.

Sweet might have to get that, when it says feedneck threads are the same does it mean same as cocker or same as Ion/Imp like before.

i think that means ion threads. i wouldnt want cocker threads, more necks are ion threaded ne way. the reason i would want cocker threads is for the deadly wind cf freak barrel.

People have gone as far as to ask for other marker forums here, it's just not gonna happen. Y'all have PBN for that -

Some old school Monty Python for ya-
"What do you burn besides witches?"
"More witches!!!!"
"Ummm people who don't own Spyders?"
"Correct"
"So if it weighs the same as a duck, it doesn't own a Spyder?"

haha yup I felt that was neccissary

Sorry, I don't own a Spyder. But I don't own an Ion either :) I had a Spyder as my first marker and found KUSA, the Spyder eventually moved on but I didn't :)

I don't see much point in this really, but it would be a good thing for Cocker owners and I suppose Cocker threaded barrels are in abundance on the Nation..and cheap. So maybe it was a smart move..pretty sad when you can build an entire gun without actually buying that gun..lol.

alright:

luckypb cocker threaded breech - 55 bucks

lapco (i think lapco makes it) cocker to imp barrel adapter - 20/30 bucks, maybe cheaper

lets see, i think 20/30 is less then 55, but i could be wrong. :dodgy:

Well remeber kits will work with this but not with a lapco adapter since the adapters only one bore size. But i dont see the point to pay $55 more for cocker barrels when theres plenty of options in imp threads. What ever tickles your fancy i geuss...

lapco kits ruin the point of having a cf barrel with a freak insert.

1 if you want cf, you probibly wont want some ugly lapco junk on your barrel. just how cf-ers are.
2, the cf is a freak, that means you need it where the breach is, not 2 inches into the barrel.

Its for people that already own a cocker barrel, or a couple sets such as myself, and dont want to worry about having to buy another barrel but use ones they already have. Also its for the people that plan on keeping their barrels when they get another gun or higher quality gun since more are cocker threaded. Would suck to buy a $100-200 kit, sell it and loss money only to buy another one.

Yes, it only doesnt make sense if you are strapped for cash, have one gun, or dont plan on buying kits but stick to 1 piece barrels. And its not a totally loss if you do buy the chamber because its not like you cant sell the stock.

yeah, the only reason i could think of having it is what chubz said, actually having to buy an imp threaded kit is what stopped me from considering an ion.
