Im new tho my vs3, i posted last night about my lock knob ball bearing coming out, so i got it back in today with a clicky pen spring that i cut, and it works now. I hooked up my tank and shot some but i only got 500 shots on a full 48/3k, which is terrible, my sonix got more and its hp. I was at about 250, but the reg isnt broken in so it went down to like 220. Still, i would expect around 700-800 shots like the sonix. Also off topic but i get terrible accuracy with the stock barrel.

Q: How many shots can I get from air system X?
A: As a rather general rule of thumb, a 3000 psi system gets 10 shots per cubic inch, and a 4500 psi system gets 15 shots per cubic inch. For example, a 47/3000 air system will give roughly 450-500 shots (the formula says 470) on an average gun. The formula estimate is pretty rough; some guns will do a lot better, and some will get fewer shots than the formula says, but it gets you in the ballpark.

following the very inconsistent rule, its about right. I wouldnt call it terrible because it is spot on to the "rule of thumb". I would expect to get much more then 500.

How many did your sonix get?

Well the sonix get 750-800, but i guess i should shut up cuz my local field has all day air, so its not like i'll everhave a problem(unless of course i shoot 500 pbs in a round). 230-250 sounds about right, i had recocking problems under 220 so 230 is a safe estimate. How much did u shoot before the reg stablized?

My gauge hasn't moved at all once I've gotten it adjusted and started shooting. However, it seems every time I pull the tank off and then put it back on later, the gauge reads less pressure then it did when I pull the tank off, and I haven't done anything eith the reg...
