Hey yall,

i owned a spyder back a number of years, a spyder elite to be exact and it was great, easy to fix cheap low maintnance. fun to personalize. but heres my Question

i baught a smart parts barrel for the spyder then and i love the abrrel. would it fit into the modern spyders? such as an MR1 wich i want to buy? like are the grooves in new spyders the same as from back then?

(im selling an autockockerGX4 to buy a spyder hehe)

You'll be happy with your purchase. The MR1 for one, a spyder... wich means easy, low matenence and customisability. You should see whats possible with the MR's these days.

You'll really enjoy it. I love mine.

The barrel will work. The threads havent changed.

awsome man. thanks ace. what do u recomend i get along with this MR1? ive read some things about getting a spring kit due to the velocity. like any nessisary upgrades out of the b ox besides barrel wich i have already?

Nope. Though a revvy or something similar would make sure you don't out shoot the hopper.

You could go for HPA if you want, though its not at all necessary in my opinion.

Personally... Either cut the top rail on the stock, or buy the Proteam FX Carstock.
