Psssh - it's not a Sonix unless you start out with 200.00!

Forum joke - you'll find out all about it soon.... Welcome to the boards!

Barrel. asa with on/off, new feedneck and new frame with electronics - just covered 99 percent of what everyone else is going to say...

I'll let others tell you about polishing internals, home mods and Otters site (more commonly known as the "Bible.")

I say; teardrop, 06 progressive or J&J ceramic.

An on off ASA is not necessary at all, I still don't have on on my gun. Feedneck is nice but again not necessary.

J&J Ceramic 14"

Best one peice I've ever owned. Quiet too.

The ceramic coating on the inside lets you shoot right through breaks (wich are likely on a Spyder) and with one or two shots, the barrel is cleaned out.

IMO they look pretty sick too.

Another thing you might want to consider is upgrading your feedneck. You can get a good CCM clamping one or a twist lock for cheap. They are well worth it if you have the kind of feedneck that uses the plastic tubes to attatch the hopper.

you might want to try an empire twister barrel
i personally have a 14'' on my avant
its a great barrel as long as you clean it between games otherwise it starts spiralling balls
there usually are $40 but it depends where u get it.
hope this helps
