Hello all, i am having trouble getting my Spyder Pilot to fire. I turn on the gun, cock it, pull the trigger & nothing. It is a brand new gun out of the box. It is the Pilot, not the acs model. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

is your battery fully charged? at least 14 hours on the charger?

did u push the button on the back of the trigger frame?
doing that takes the safety off and allows the gun to fire :)

C.A.M.D frames have to do that...right?

There's the manual for you. I do not believe he has to do that, Ricochet...

Thanks for the help guys. Yes, the battery is fully charged, overnight. It does not want to fire when the safety is off. I have tried everything, nothing. It's like the trigger is dead. It seems to want to fire when the gun is not cocked. I get a good hard trigger sound, but once i cock it, the trigger just sounds dead. It makes a low clicking noise. Also, is there any easier way to un-cock the gun than taking off the grip handle cover?

the battery sounds like its not charged but you said it was charged overnight so i am confused:confused:
an easier way to un-cock the gun would be to pull the trigger but seeing how thats the problem that dosent help :D

I would take a brand new 9v battery and just try it. You should not use the 9v in the frame it is not recommended. But at least you can see if it is the Battery. I had a friend get a bum Java 9.6v. If the regular brand new 9v lets it fire, call Kingman and see if you can get a new one.

A friend at work just got a Pilot ACS and is having battery problems with it. We are both mechanics and are good at electrical problems. We found the red battery wire inside the insulation is broken at the connector that plugs into the circuit board. Is this something that Kingman can just send a new piece out? He's kind of bummed and really likes the gun otherwise.

an easier way is to just push the solenoid to make the gun uncock ... but ur gonna take out as many screws anyways ....

Had the same problem today, and was just messing with it.

I found that the handle was a little loose from the frame, this corrected the problem.
