When i can finally scrounge up some money because i dont have a job at this moment i was going to do something about a barrel because i want my gun to look like a m-16 or in that nature. My two choices that im going to pick from are the bt-16 apex barrel or the Phantom RIS hand guards long with a front sight and a barrel shroud of some sort. I was wondering what would be the better deal and what would be better for accuracy. I appreciate any comments.:D

Id go with the M16 Apex brrrel, im planning on getting it to the use the apex system at my advantage(like shoot around corners and down in bunkers)

im going with the apex barrel for the same reason as Maxx. i would like to be able to hit some one when they cant hit me!!! but its all preference really.

ya im thinking that would be the better choice also because i added it all up and it would be probably cheaper in the long run i think

ok so can someone here answer my question?? i read on pb review that you cant shoot long ropes of paint with the bt apex barrel and that you have to take the whole apex part off to clean it?? is this true? i like to shoot alot of long, fast, ropes of paint and do not want to get a barrel that i have to clean alot!!!

idk i didnt get it for x-mas:( Id guess its a pain considering its a plastic tip with some ports and stuff that could mess with the balls flight plan.

If you have a break in the tip you need to take it apart but it is only 4 screws.

I found it easier to carry a sports water bottle and just hose the tip well then squeegee it several times to clear the water. Dry fire thenn you are back in business. Not as easy as cleaning a regular barrel but you can do it quick.

I've been using the bt apex and have broken a few balls in barrel. I have never taken it apart. I rinse it with water, swing it like a bat to get the water out then squeege and it's good. The water bottle thing is a great idea, if the apex is the only barrel your carrying. I usually carry a spare barrel on my back just in case of a break during a game.

i think youll love the jj ceramic, mine is so freakin accurate that i could prob hit the bottom of a coffee can every single shot from 20 or 30yrds away
