Ok I have heard many stories on what and what not to use on your paintball markers to keep them lubricated. I have been using heavy duty silcone spray. I am tired of getting over spray everywhere, I was wondering if I could use something like 3 in One oil, Or something along those lines, Any suggestions.

First off, sprays are a no-no because they have heavy petroleum distillates in them that will over time destroy o-rings. If you want to use silicone, go to a hobby shop and get some RC car shock lube. It comes in many weights. I think somewhere between a 10w - 25w would be fine for a Spyder. I only use Gold Cup on all of my Spyder's. I've tried many lubes even the silicone stuff and Gold Cup seems to get the best results for mine -

You can get a bottle of cheap marker oil at any Wally World, Mejer, or Dic*s for a couple of bucks.......
3 in 1 is a terrible lube for markers....

It is petroleum based and will definately damage your o rings over time. Also, it picks up alot of dirt that can scratch/damage your marker too...

Just think in these terms: if it's paintball specific oil, you'll be just fine. Read the label - ;)
