What are the specs on it?

Hob Hayward

Meh, thats fast, but because a guys physically shooting, I'm gonna guess that that couldn't have been above 20 bps, unless it was uncapped ramping. Still whats the point unless its better on battery life?

No specs have been released as of yet. I'm fairly positive it's still in the testing phase to make sure there are no gremlins running amok. At least we know there's at least one alternative to getting a VL upgrade chip...

I'd just like to know if someone could Goldwave that ::cough HACKER cough:: and see how fast it really was.

Nah, to Goldwave it he needs the actual video file.

I can get you an FLV format of it, Dan (FireFox extension). I don't know if you could use that, though.

if you have flash 8 you may be able to reverse convert the file. the audio should be actual and i know you can strip that from the video with the video converter with flash 8 (free trial at webpage)

guy at my local shop talked to the owner of WAS...supposedly a VLocity board with better battery life and 55 BPS out soon....Well see...

Hob Hayward

55 bps eh, theres no way that could happen. Thats just too big a jump, no loader feeds more than 30 drop right now, and a jump of 25 bps is just too big.

Jim Drew is a lying sack of dung. It took him about 1.5 years of promising Imp owners a board for the Imp before it was finally released. Then the first 2 attempts had bugs. I won't even go into all of the other lies he's told the public in the past. I wouldn't trust any information that came from Jim Drew. IOW.....don't hold your breath - :o

leed that looks like a carlton tank, not the illegal ones.

edit: it says VLocity chip i wasn't aware the vlocity had an opening for a chip... does it or did they mean to write board

Claus...the VLocity has a removable, upgradable chip....kinda like the un1tech stuff for whatever markers.

Mmmm I beg to differ. Carleton tanks don't look like that.

new vid with chrono...sounds like skipping.....could be a problem with the drive cone maybe?...or the interchange between ramping cycles...idk...

possibly...I don't have any specs to say "what's new" about it.

claustrophobia9

i dunno the more i listen to it, it sounds like they're running low on air near the end, like slowly decling past functional...

oh and balls falling slower near the end would do it.

leed
12-07-2006, 08:56 PM
That is true, but it sounds like they're getting a teeny bit of drop off, I mean, after all, that's kind of expected if they're shooting ~30BPS.

claustrophobia9
12-08-2006, 11:41 AM
its actually suprisingly fast near the end where hes running out of balls in the hopper, my halo would be skipping shots left and right

bamf-hacker

My skipping was due to Reballs.

No skips with paint.

a tank that was denied testing by the department of transportation in the united states cannot be filled legally here (atleast commercailly)
