i bought this spyder compact 2000 at a garage sale for $5 and i was wondering if i could take out the bolt and striker and if i could how to do it, i no this sounds stupid but i hav no idea and iv takin everything apart on the gun that i could

if its the same as any other, you can.
im not sure what it looks like, but if its top cocking, there should be a pin towards the back, take that out, and your set.

im sry i dont have a pic but it cocks on the left side of the marker and the spot where the bolt would usually come out there is something blocking it and it wont come out.
srry for the bad explanation but im really confused, im thinking about just not messing with it and just using it as a double back up

Take the siterail off, that usually blocks the bolt from coming out. Also .. remember to unscrew the screw attached to the striker (cocking knob)

its not that either its something in the hole above where the striker is and behind the bolt, its just a round piece of metal about an inch long(i can tell by sticking my finger in there and feeling it)
