Phantom.
Sniper 2.

pumps, more challenge, more fun, for some, also saves $$ on paint

There is another pump too... I cant think of the name though.

But Phantoms are rated the best as far as I know.

I think the other of the top 3 is the Ericson or something... I cant remember.

Pumps bring you back to basics. It makes it more difficult, (at least if your going against speedball markers with their 15+ BPS) and it brings up your accurasy level alot.

You save alot of $ on paint. Its also alot of fun. I cant explain it. You have to try it yourself.

Why exactly are you buying a pump though? Just because you have the money? Or because you really want to experience it?

Because you really have to want to use the pump to get used to it, and you have to practice alot. Its not like you can just buy one and be good with one. Also, dont give up on it immediately if your having trouble. Alot of people I see that buy pumps do that and they call it stupid.

you want to buy a top of the line pump gun and you dont know why people play pump? i hope you have actually played pump before... its not for everybody. you dont want to put tons of money into a pump and realize you dont like it.

theres alot of good ones, but i dont think theres any reason to get anything more expensive than a phantom. you could get a carter or something, but i think they are more expensive without any performance advantages.

CARTER! Thats right... where did I get Ericson from....

But yeah... the best ones out are the:

WGP Sniper 2
Phantom
Carter

you can also get a pump kit for an autococker, so if you don't like pump you have a nice gun to use.

im too lazy to read the above posts, but another reason i would play pump is because its harder to play against people useing the higher end guns that i would usually play with.

for example, the PM6 that i had i could kill the people i played against that day, mostly 14 year olds, but it was a blast.

with a pump, this 14 year old kid with a tippmann is now a threat, not a guy you could take out right away.

i acutally want the pump to help increase my skill level.

i heard if u can master the pump, the semi auto is going to be too easy.

also, i don't like having a gravity hopper, so does that mean the wgp sniper 2 is out of the question? i want those little tube like pods that go on ur arm.

if thats the case, is the phantom the way to go?

Phantoms are great (I love mine) but a lot of people have problems with the lightness of them. I mean, they are SUPER light - I've let off farts that were heavier than my Phantom....

If the weight issue is an, well, issue - then definitely try out a sniper. As someone said, you can take a cocker and drop a pump kit into it and you'd have both kinds of guns....

You won't need any upgrades with the Phantom - it's great as is...I got mine from Otter - best place ever. Shoot, he still checks in with me months later to see if I still like it and have any issues. Now THAT'S customer service!

Lmao farts weigh more.

You can buy several harnesses for your 10rd pods., and for your 12g CO2 cartridges.

The kind I like are the ones that go around your wrist. Then the "suspender" look for the 10 rd pods. there are alot of harnesses out there... some more pricey then others.

Maybe you could put a Red Dot sight on your Phantom.

question, the phantom stock class w/45, does it use co2 gram canisters?

which is the pump that can use 8oz + canisters?

Ace24

The Phantom stock class uses the 12G. You can buy parts to convert the Phantom into using any size tank as well as using a hopper if you want. Its completely customisable.

instead of converting everything, can i just get one that fits the tank as well as a direct feeding tube?

which CCI phantom is that?

I think you have to get the Stock class version first, then buy those parts.

colonel_moo

no, you can buy constant air versions.

When I bought mine, it had a 12 g changer and all I had to do was unscrew the adapter to screw in a 3.5 ounce vertical Co2 tank. All came with...

You can get different bodies for them to have a vertical feed, stock class feed, right feed, etc....

To switch to hopper only takes a couple of seconds! Unscrew 12 gram changer and screw in CO2 or HPA

Fixed. :)

It is totally up to you what look you want. I don't know if there is a difference between the acid wash or the regular anno... but if you like the style better, go for the acid.

There are many sweet looking color combos out there. I've seen silver with black(Identicle to the green one above, only the green was silver), silver with bronze, and I think red and black. They also have solid colored Phantoms if I am not mistaken.

They have solid colors in everything from blue, to purple to black. And they have several different combinations of washes - mine is a brown and green over black wash.

I happen to like the acid wash phantoms. There's a couple of pics of phantoms in the last Non Spyder of the Month contest. Check em out there to see them. Personally, it's worth it to have acid wash to me, but a lot of people prefer just plain black - it's all a personal preference.

If your getting a phantom get a acid wash, it looks way better IMO.

I liked the phantom I had, very light and was +/- 4-5.

I switched to cocker pump and like the CCM pump kit on my cocker way better then the phantom's pump action.

edit:
forgot to add make sure you get a matching stock t-stock up front or wise you will kick your self later on and have to search forever to find one that matchs.

timbertiger ur box is full

can u give me a price on this

1. 3.5 oz c02 silver
2. vsc
3. direct feeding
4. purple/silver acid wash
5. i don't think i need a stock.

vikingshadow
11-28-2006, 12:47 PM
I'd get a stock anyways, especially if you're going with the air supply from underneath. Even if you don't use it, it's extremely hard to find a matching one if you don't get it right away...

bracer028
11-28-2006, 12:59 PM
but its like 55 bucks

Ace24
11-28-2006, 02:33 PM
It's eaiser to pump the gun if you have a stock... it also lines up better and works more comfortably. You were just saying you have more then enough money...

i talked to the local pb shop and they can sell one that is fully acid wash with a stock for 270

What color is it? Is it new? Stock class or Direct feed?

I am just full of questions :)

Get the L-stock if you don't want to pay as much, I've heard that its better than the adjustable stock.
