here is my electra. so what do you guys think. any tips or recommended upgrades. my next step is mounting a guage (i have a 300psi, do you guys think thats enough?). i might post a video eventually and show you guys it in action.

NEW PICS (before esp frame mod)
I recently put a brown paper bag over my hpa tank so it looks like a wine bottle that a hobo is carrying around. lol.
Made some cool stickers for my tank too. maybe i post em or the designs later.

Looks pretty good the way it is. SWEET!!!!! You might want to get a low rise feed neck and a new barrel. If your going to put the guage on the ON/OFF I would suggest a 1200psi. The Electra has always been one of my favorites.

Thanks! im putting the guage on the asa but i might get on extra for the on/off eventually. im getting a 1500psi because it comes on the timmy front block im getting. i am also thinking about getting an evil pipe barrel kit. you can get one on firstcallpaintball.com for $39.99. what a deal!!

A barrel is definatly at the top of my list. I heard the Evil kits at FCP were all Angel threaded and came with an adapter.....that adds to the control bore and can effect efficency and accuracy....
Nice Electra dude....I especially like the Detonator, I have great luck with them :)

i was thinking about the adapter effecting that but you cant beat that price!

the last thing you see

instead of getting the evil pipe kit, invest a little more in the freak kit. thats what i am using on my 05 electra and in my opinion there is nothing better. also try getting the maddman rocket valve. with it and your reg you should be able to drop your operating pressure drastically.

Spimmy. i changed my mind about that. im using a refurbished pilot to convert to spimmy. im keepin this and putting the stock air stuff back on.

Kits not available any more from firstcall, however you can still find it on ebay for the same price.

I wouldn't do the barrel kits. I run a Hammerhead and I've let about 15 people who run freak kits try my hammerhead and they walk back with the biggest smiles on their faces. They get so freaked out about the 5.5" SharksTooth (shortie) that they usually come back yelling "how do they do that?". But, that's me. Nice marker BTW, looks crazy similar to mine except for the rocking trigger that mine has. Play safe, play hard.

You could always try THIS (http://www.pythonpaintball.com/)...it's not a barrel kit per se....

Well, oscum, did you notice that the 60$ is the adapter, and all their inserts (plus a case)? Because it is, which is what can justify the price.

http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4983/ - for Druid

Also, you can get extra backs for 30$ a piece. Much more affordable than the freak.

Oh i thought it was just the adapter thingy. that is a good price then. I wonder how the thing works and what it is suppose to do?

01-30-2007, 06:54 PM
it seems as if it turns your existing barrel into a "Freak-like" system that allows you to bore-size your paint. Insert goes in adapter and screws into the marker. Barrel screws into that...

Oscum Guy

??? I dont think that would make a difference because i dont bore-size your whole barrel. I would think it would make it less accurate because of the change in bore size from the adapter to the barrel. It would also make your barrel longer which is not always wanted.

The trigger you have on your gun... Is it any good?

In the future if a thread is this old, PM the person you want to ask a question. Thanks. jjr

how come one picture has a double finger trigger
and the other one has one similar to the pilot?

08-01-2007, 08:08 PM
The Check it Assault Block is a very cool add-on for a spyder. Not sure if you can still get them or not. Looks awesome with the Evil regulator.

08-01-2007, 09:08 PM
