Well its been a while since I stopped by here but Ive decided to get rid of my old sonix and get an MR1. Ever since I first saw them I basically fell in love with the gun so I guess its about time.

I was just curious if anybody had any suggestions, pointers, advice, things to look out for, etc, etc, etc........

Im about to place the order for it but just wanted to see what you guys thought about your MR1's. I plan on getting it no matter what but was just wondering.

I have one and love it so much so i am getting rid of my a5, i run mine with hpa and jsut bought an eggy for it never chops

things i would suggest is a barrel kit dont bother getting what some call a good barrel the best barrel is always going to be on that matches ure paint, I run a freak jr, a hopper is a good idea only because there is suo much blowback u get chops with the eggy on there i can rip as fast as i can and it never chops, the other thing i would suggest is the metal feedneck i dont own one yet but plan on buying one before the start of next season my plastic one is going to crap big time

My biggest love for the MR1 is that its a no headache gun jsut go out and play no worrying about buying this up and that up

and oh yes spring kit is a must i found the stock spring very soft

I'm going big with mine. Idk if you've seen some of the MR's on this site, but I am putting a Q-loader on it, J&J Ceramic 14", Car stock, MR3 rail, Red dot sight, remote, HPA, handguard, and possibly a tac flashlight on the handguard.

You have alot of options to look into, but for now, go for a new barrel, and the metal feedneck from sundragon. You wont regret it.

yea i like mine its not mocked up or anything. i use the stock barrel. a VL200 hopper, and a 20 oz co2 tank and the first time that i played with it, it was DEAD ON. i do suggest that u get a new elbow tho, it didnt take long 4 me 2 strip mine. i do suggest the mr1 tho it is a good marker.

as a mainly speedball player, i would not reccomend the MR1. there is a limit on the amount of triggers u can get for it
