View Full Version : Electra w/eyes vs VS3

I would like to ask for your help. I am going to get a new gun this week end and would like to ask you pros which do you feel is the better gun, and why.
I have narrowed my choices to either a 06 Electra with eyes or a VS 3.
I am presently a recreation only player but would like to try a few tourney's in the future. Anyway, since the lil woman has been kind enough to let me lay down a sizeable chunk of money, I want to be sure I get the best for the buck. With the gun, I will also be getting a new loader, nitro tank, and a better barrel. (freak kit ?) I would greatly appreciate any input from you experienced folks, and also any thoughts on mods that I will want to be looking at.

Thank You in advance

At this time, I like the 06 Electra, only because there are more upgrades for it.

But, stock, you will get the most bang for buck with the VS2. The VS3's rocking trigger may be illegal in tourneys, and the VS2 has everything the VS3 has. Get the VS2 and use some extra cash to maybe buy a ScenarioDreams T-board. It has better (adjustable) eye logic, and plenty of modes to choose from.

What about the VS2 or VS3? They're much better than either of those, and cheaper too I beleive.

im hearing now that the electra w/ eyes is draining the battery extremely fast.... is there any input on this or fix ?

It doesn't drain it fast. The situation is if you leave the battery in the marker, in about 2-2 1/2 days, it will drain the battery.

All you have to do is take the battery out when your done playing/charging. Also keep a spare 9 volt in your gear bag for an emergency. And never charge the battery for more then 8 hours.

You either live with the battery draining or get the VerC Electra06/MR/VS board from scenario dreams. It should fix the problem as well as giving you a whole lot of options and modes not available on the stock board.
