View Full Version : Is low pressure good for me?

As you may recall I'm new to the sport. I've finally got my Pilot set up for nitro; I played with it for a little bit yesterday. I shot one hopper full of balls and used 500 psi out of my 72 ci tank. Would be benefitting if I switched to low pressure? And what would I have to change for it? Also thanks for your help last time!

nope, stay with a HP tank, the output on an LP tank (~450) would not help your set-up and will most likely starve your marker for air.

i dont think he means the tank, if so then NO do not switch to an LP tank its worthless .. the only marker that has to use an LP tank is an angel . Anyways if your talking about making your whole marker run LP then well its all up to you, but i will warn you its kinda costly and takes time, and read this it will have all you need to know about going LP http://www.ottersccustoms.com/lp.html

I realize you said too many upgrades on your marker (rafb86). But I have a '05 Pilot ACS; that's what I've been working with and love it. I was just wondering what upgrades you could suggest for mine. Any info you could give is deeply appreciated. Also your right about changing my whole set up to LP. My Pilot is bone stock except for changing the drop forward.
