i know my progressive doesnt fit the mr2 b/c of the shroud are there any other barrels that dont fit?...or should i ask...which barrels do fit?

they all fit if you take the shroud off.
I have JnJ and it fit fine with the shroud but i took it off anyways.
My mr2 now has an auto cocker esk look, and i like it.

With the shroud on, Here are some barrels that I have found interesting. The Mil-Sim Barrels can also be purchased w/o the Apex for about $50 cheaper. I'm also a little unsure about the new Recon barrel from Trinity with the suppressor. But if I find out it works, than it may be more of a use for me than my J&J. Shrouds are also available to increase the Mil-Sim look.

I believe these fits with the shroud on too.

Lapco Bigshot 14" (http://www.octanegear.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3512)

I'm using this one, fits as advertised, looks real sexy but long n heavy.
Opsgear fluted barrel 18" (http://www.opsgear.com/MR2-M82A1-18-inch-Fluted-SNIPER-Paintball-Barrel?sc=22&category=1638)

has anyone tried the empire revolver kit on the mr2 yet? or know of anyone that has?

11-22-2006, 05:12 PM
what about the stiffi barrel? does it fit or is it too big?

11-22-2006, 07:12 PM
So is it safe to have the shroud off and still play?

11-23-2006, 04:35 PM
yes you can take off the shroud and be safe, ive done it quite a few times when using a barrel kit. theres nothing thats open in that area that you could get dirt or anything into.

Thanks, I was a little nervous when I first turned on my valve without the shroud on.

If there's clearance for the shroud then it should fit. The catalog pictures on ActionVillage seems to support what everyone said here.

Link to Site here. (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/BrowseCatalog-Start;sid=oubJV3VN8O3JcDAlp70J_3_rB6Z8i_T8oTM=?Cat egoryName=paintball-paintball-barrels-bt-barrels)

The extension looks like it will clear the shroud safely.

i picked up the SP tactical 16'.....$40 on sale...

i was supposed to get the bigshot but apparently lapco changed the design flaring it at the bottom so it wouldnt fit the MR2's....if ur thinkin of getting the BIGSHOT...try it out first..just in case...
