Thats exactly what I thought when I saw it. It has the proto looking design/color theme, the profiler lense, and the skul cut. I know our store will stock them. Since we are sponsored by V-Force. So I will try one out. I think they are pretty cool looking. Looks like a good development on the Skul design.

That interchangable foam idea is A++. I cant tell you how much I wish the other masks had that.

Not too bad. Coulda been a little better.

You'll also notice, that the three Trauma players are all shooting with the new Pulses.

11-06-2006, 03:35 AM

i like the look of them. just another thing for me to look at before purchasing a good mask.

My proshop got them in today. I tried them on... I like them! Although... they arnt for me. I dont like how they look on my face, and when I wear them... I feel too much like I am wearing an I3 with slightly wider viewing area. :(

The bounce rubber on the front is like the Proflex/Flex 7's. Its really nice. The replaceable foam is nice too! It pops out with the vent plastic and you replace the whole peice. Wich means its going to be a little pricey... but much nicer then having to glue your foam back on when it peels off like on the profiler.

The lense is different then the profiler, but still gives you close to the profiler viewing area.

I would buy one if they werent $100 and if I liked how it looked better on myself.

OH another positive aspect is the fact that its slimmer all around. Its not as wide as the profiler. It also has some rubber above the lense... not that its going to help with bounces... but it might make it so that shell fragments dont get under your lense as easy as they do with the profilers.

I really like them. They look pretty cool too.

11-27-2006, 03:04 PM
these are the 2 vids i found of it , if i didnt have profilers already i would def get them!

11-27-2006, 03:31 PM
Sorry - still not feeling them. The overall design just looks weird to me. The squarish front and the curved top - just ewwwww!

As far as them being slimmer than the profiliers, I'll have to see them side by side in comparison before I believe that. In those two videos, they look freaking huge compared to the profilers...

11-27-2006, 04:18 PM
I did compare them side by side. They might not be around the chin area, but on the sides of the head, there is a definate difference.

You'll see. But yeah, I don't like them much for myself. They have a sweet looking design, but on my head it looks stupid. I look like a Preditor off of Alien Vs Preditor.

11-28-2006, 03:42 AM
Like I said, I'D have to compare them side by side to believe it. It just doesn't look like it's smaller to me. I'd want to see them side by side on a counter, then side by side on someone's head (two pics, of course! Duh!) to compare the actual size while wearing it.

But size difference aside, I still think it's pretty ugly in my opinion.

11-28-2006, 12:28 PM
them red ones hot :D

11-29-2006, 11:13 AM
I dunno IMO the profiler is still the nicest one.

12-01-2006, 10:44 PM
I saw one of our Rochester N'Vasion players with one today... It looked nice on him... and the coolest part was that our logo looks exactly like the eyes (lense area and what looks like a brow) of the Grill.

Hard to see from that angle..

12-03-2006, 10:10 AM
Those are some of most hideous goggles I have ever seen:eek:

12-04-2006, 06:31 AM
I would like to see some more without the visor. The ads we get at the shop all have that nasty looking visor on it. Other refs at the field say it is kind of short around the chin area. Me having a big long face with a cone-head doesn't help that feature at all. That is why I cant wear dye masks, My chin is exposed.
Anywhere else I can look for some differnt pics?

01-07-2007, 08:51 PM
personally i love the profiler better, which is what i use. It looks alot sleeker, the only thing about v-force and the newer goggles is that they all are moving closer to the actuall face instead of the sides of the jaw or the chin for example, which can cause alot more welts in that area. One player I saw on the field, had sum goggles that barely covered his mouth...
