Well for the new electra it isn't at all neccissary, because it comes stock with a decent clamping feedneck. Repalcing the feedneck generally applies to the stock spyder feednecks which used withthe plastic elbows resultin the breaking of many plastic elbows.

If it already has a decent feedneck you probably don't need to get a new one.

The feedneck is the same as the Fenix. So is the body design pretty much. I didnt like my stock feedneck for two reasons.
One: It was way to high up. Put my hopper way too high. I dont like the whole "smokestack" look on my paintball gun.
Two: It is a thumb screw clamp. Idk about you, but after a long day of paintball, I dont want to sit there ripping my thumbs and fingers to shreads trying to take off my hopper if I cant find a screwdriver near by.
I would go with a CCM, or Trinity T-lock clamping feedneck.
