its just not a very good trigger

its fast and all, but its too sensitive and its just not good....try the ion trigger and then the rocking tirgger, you will feel the difference

try the ion trigger and then the rocking tirgger, you will feel the difference

Try the VS2 trigger then try the rocking trigger. There is a completely different feel period between an ION and Spyder.

IMO Get an ION, not spyder. That is if your going to spend like $200 on a gun. But of course, you'll have to buy a HPA tank.

As said many times before, the rocking trigger is all personal preference. Some people will love it and some will hate it. Your best bet is to try both out before you buy and see which you like more.

I have to vouch for the pilot. Cheap, good, and cheap. 110 at AVI. Leaves plenty of money for other things until you up to a better gun.

is the pilot better than electra in acuracy and stuff like that

11-02-2006, 04:06 PM
All spyders are so similar, that I say you should just stick with the pilot. It is a good reliable gun.

so what you think i should get a pilot and then what hopper and like a 20 oz tank and what mask for under about 270

11-02-2006, 04:47 PM
Pilot: roughly 110
mask:use as much as possible of your remaining money IMO
That is a pretty good beginner set up. Remember to save money for paintballs, and admission to the field.

im mostly just going to play in the woods by my house and i think the electra looks alot kooler and its getting better reviews and all my friends say they will so love my gun if i get electra cuz they all have 98s

A pilot with Upgrades will match if not beat an Electra. Throw on a new barrel, new feedneck, new elec loader, and decent paint and your set dude. My $0.02

11-02-2006, 06:33 PM
you also need a mask

11-02-2006, 07:02 PM
yea i know. well before i buy 1 i need to wait like 2 weeks until report cards cuz if i have over a 90 average i can get 1 for sure. also i think im going to go with electra cuz in my eyes its cooler and i dont care about money cuz most of it its my moms so idk if the pilots cheaper

11-02-2006, 07:10 PM
ur gonna regret the rocking trigger.

What they say about the rocking trigger being sensative is so true. I tried my friends Rodeo with rocking trigger and i barely touched the thing and it shot a ball. But once i took it into a game i loved it. Just make sure you get a hopper that can feed balls for its 30bps.
