Yup, re-read the rules... If you send multiple pics, the first one you sent will be the one used. Period.

Yeah, I put that rule in for the specific reason that someone can't blame me for choosing the wrong or worst picture to post. Back when this started, people were posting 4-5 pictures and when the one I picked wasn't the one they liked, a couple (not saying names) said that I was trying to throw the contest - I wasn't even in it at that time!

So, I promptly made the rule that the first picture I get is the one I use. Honestly? After I see the first one, I don't even look at the other pictures I get in that pm - that's why I tend to miss some other guns. People will put 2-3 guns in a thread, and I only see the first one!

I was going to implement the "1 gun per PM rule" next time, because I got multiple guns in threads this time!

Well, theres always next month I guess? I loved the other pic, it was probably the best pic I've ever taken. I just remeber having seen multiple pics per gun before in otm threads, and didn't bother to read the rules :(.

I don't think you saw multiple pics per gun in my contests - I don't think I ever allowed more than one picture, unless it was WAY at the beginning of the contest almost two years ago. That was WAY to many pictures - 56K not only death but bursting into flames!

sigh......And thus illustrates one reason these contests are a pain - the constant questioning as to why I did what I did.....:rolleyes: Although "Because I said so," is a good, but rude answer, I give one that's better. ;)

We (mods) decided that the EM1, the T1, the Zip kits and such were not the standard blow back model we associate with Spyder-type guns. Because of this, we decided that they should be entered under the Non Spyder (read, anything but blowback but doesn't sound as nice as non spyder.) Had we not, all those guns, including Spimmies would be included in the regular Spyder poll. Since this is an effort to make the contest as FAIR as possible for ALL those involved, this is the best solution - for the moment.

If that's not good enough, then the standard, "Because I said so," will suffice. :cool:
