http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n98/backsidex/fasta.jpg

The speed is yours. Spyder is proud to introduce the new Fasta Electronic Loader. The Fasta provides both a sleek aerodynamic design and lightning fast game play with an impressive 35+ BPS. This is the loader that picks up the slack of the other loaders promising to be the fastest. The Fasta is ultra light weighing in at one poind with the batteries installed! The loader has an impressive 230-ball capacity and is easy to reload with the quick reload lid. The revolutianry feed ramp reduces popcorning in the feed neck which enables the quickest load imagined. The Fasta is available in LED and LCD screen as well as 9v and 18v; Both come with low battery indicators. With the LCD screen the player can stay on top of the game with an advanced timer.
Enjoy your speed.

I dislike the feed door, and the fact that its the second hopper I hear about 5 days after I buy a new hopper.

Says they're called the Torpedo in my 2006 Spyder dealer catalog. They are made by Ricochet for Kingman so I suppose they should look similar to one lol -

Hob Hayward

By ricochet?! I really hope they have a good loader system, an that it doesn't lie about feedrate like the Apache does.

Didnt you hear? Its 50 BPS anti gravity fed. So the balls are floating around in your hopper like they are on the moon untill a vortex at the bottom of the neck opens, loading a ball into your gun. :)

yeah, and when it detects that you're in need of massive amounts of ammo very fast, it opens up a dimensional gateway between your hopper and your pods, thus eliminating the need for reloading.

Yeah it does, not to mention that I bet they're listing the drop rate as the feed rate. Because ifthe apache and every other ricochet ies about feedrate, why would they stop there and not lie about this one?

And I thought the other new loader was by procaps, of course I guess procaps might own Draxxus...

The word I got was it will be available very soon like within a week or two. They were using them in the VS's in the range tent this week at the WCO. I got some pics of it:

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid218/pba2a0379924319b70c75006b5fd9f9b7/ec127492.jpg

It was keeping up with the VS's to a T. There was a little red headed kid that wanted to try the VS's today. He looked to be about 8 years old. He got on the VS3 and like totally ripped on it lol. Reballs were flying everywhere -

I saw the Pulse's and these guys were taking it and literally standing on them and the plastic didn't break.....very impressive. They're very strong but there are some negatives for me. They are humungous! They have a super short neck and I think it's due to the large height. The bottom portion of the hopper is low and wide. I didn't see one on a marker but I have a feeling it would get in the peripheral or in general, block your sight when shooting. It's just too large a hopper for my liking especially for the $160 or so price tag  .....that's crazy -

I've been seeking a fasta(NPI) hopper and I'll most likely be getting one of these since the price I heard is around $80-90. Less than a HALO and a portion of the price of the Pulse in a smaller package that holds more paint -

Yeah, I agree there. It also looks unbalanced, like the Egg. Thats one of the things I really do like about my B2, the feedneck is right in the middle and it feels nice on my imagine, even though it weighs alot more than my TSA did.

Did you happen to see how it loads Drago? Is it basically Halo style?

DRAGON
11-12-2006, 05:30 PM
I really didn't give it the full inspection. There were people continually waiting to shoot the VS's so the photo's and my turn shooting was brief. All I can really say is they kept up well with the high rof's of the VS's that were shooting there -

11-18-2006, 08:06 AM
Seems to me that everybody hated the Vlosity's looks when it came out too, but after seeing how well they ran the looks became less of an issue and started growing on people. If they are as fast as advertised and for $80-$90, I think I'll be able to learn to live with how it looks. The only really bad draw-back to me would be if you took a hit or alot of splatter on the back of the hopper it would be a real pain to clean paint out of the display and such.

OK, here's the Fasta in woodland camo. As you can see, the front area of the hopper is humungous lol. The neck is about 1" tall(the round part you see in the pic is the stand not the neck) so this gigantic thing setting on top of your marker's going to be in the way of seeing anything in front of you. Come to think of it, I didn't see one of these hoppers on a marker at WCO, I wonder why? Only thing I was impressed with was the demonstrators were standing on them. That should be the guideline for materials all hoppers are made from in the future -

I'd have to say, Google is your friend - ;)

So is this actually supposed to feed at 35?

That's what they say. That's prolly drop, not attached to the marker. I would assume even a 5 - 7bps reduction in the feeding rate would still be great if that was the case. My fingers can only reach 17bps(I'm not interested in the ramping, ect crutch) so for me, that would still be an overkill -

Only other sized baintballs that I know of that are available is the .50 cal for blow guns. Why would they put an extremely smaller ball in a hopper that's made for .68 cal balls then claim a capacity? That's like cutting their throat from the git-go lol -

BTW, I was being a bit satirical with calebh - ;)

the imaginary size that's slightly smaller than .68 that most companies seem to use to measure hopper capacity for advertising lol. but seriously, tho, i've never had a "200 round" hopper that held more than like 185. even if i used big paint, and the company used small paint, there's not more than .015 inches diff per ball.

The loader will actually fit 230 paintballs! We used a couple of different brands of paintballs to make sure we hit that number. a 140 round pod barely puts a dent in a empty hopper.

It's the smoke color and wasn't sure I'd like the color but this is a black smoke not the purplish or brownish smoke I've seen on others. I can see the whole inside of the hopper and when I show some pics you'll see why I mentioned simplicity. It has a very interesting feedneck design as well. I do not believe the auto shut-off can be shut off (odd saying that, LOL!) as it's programmed into the circuitry. If you just use it once every little bit before the shut-off period's up, it should just stay on. This is just my thoughts, though. I haven't been able to get my hands on one myself as of yet... :(
