View Full Version : What Paint?

Ok, so I think I got down the part thing finally, so now I need to know what paint you guys prefer for your imagine. My feild uses PMI Premium or w/e, which I personally don't like (plus they charge 80 bucks for 2000!) So whats a good paint, but fairly cheap?

You might want to go to a proshop; fields tend to be WAY overpriced on paint. I personally use GAP (Great American Paintballs) which sells for $45 with tax at my local store, and it works great for everything i do with it. :D

X-Ball Bronze and X-Ball Silver are also good choices. I use it and havent had any issues with it. Pretty cheap too about 50$

GAP is great paint to shoot, I love it I can get it for 35-40 a case depending on who is working the proshop when I go in. Also like the higher end Draxxus paint but that can get pricey.

Paintshells get soft when they are wet, just use an old towel and dry them off

dam!!!!!! this sucks... what a waste of money

not actually a waste... just wipe them off with a towel .. and use them like you normally do .. just narrow down the paint that's busted and say .. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID !!!" and then throw it out :p ... besides that .. if it hasn't sat in the busted paint for too long ... you should be fine

i was stupid enough to put them in a bucket of water and YES the paintshells got softer but i was more stupid enough to dry them and put it in my refrigerator. now paintball feels like brand new but few are out of shape. you guys think i can still use this paintball??? i cant even test them right now because my tank is low.

You can pretty much kiss that bag of paint bye bye, sticking it in water and then the fridge was probably not the best idea...

you "can" use them ... but remember to thaw them out first ... or ... it could result in some serious injury to your friends eye ... you also might need a bigger bore barrel .. since the paint probably got bigger ...

well if u just put it in the fridge wuithout putting it in water. then the paint would become more brittle and more likeyely to break in the hopper. aka Blender

quality cheap paint=Stinger $28 a case at my local proshop. I'v shot about 3 cases of it so far through 6 different barrels and 4 different guns and ball breakage is almost non-existant, accuracy is fairly good. The only downside is the fill isnt all that bright.

Go to a local store and by "el tigre" paint. Works great for my imagine which used to always chop, since I got the new paint chopping is way down on all my guns.

PMI Super Swirl Great paint to bore and barrel match if you have a smart parts progressive like me.
