Yesturday I went pball and found out that on one of my spyders I get better consistancy with Co2 and get bad consistancy with HPA. Wierd huh? It's LP too! What do you think could be the cause?

Co2 +/-10
HPA +/-50 (No Kidding, Tried to different presets and got same results)

My setup:

Gameface Vexor Body
NDZ Valve Assembly
Polished, Cupped, and Lightened Striker
Stock Bolt w/3 orings
Eframe w/Sundragon Wave Trigger
Modded Medium Valve and Light Main
Fore Grip with big Volume Chamber
Bottomline Spyder Regulator
Macroline

Sounds like the tank regulator on your HPA is bad. You might need to clean it or get a new one.

Prolly the fact that the C02 tank has a higher output than the HPA tank. Maybe a spring change would change the consistency with the HPA tank. Have you tried another HPA tank? I had an E-99 that needed an increase of about 150psi just so it would recock compared to antisiphoned C02. C02 it would recock w/o paint at 275psi and HPA needed to be 425psi or it would jackhammer like no other -

Yeah, LP spyders arn't really the best with HPA, but its kindof neccissary if your gonna be shooting fast. I halfway froze my hand to my stabilizer when I was testing out the Empire B2 with co2. Despite that, the consitency was still excellent (stab ftw). So I suppose I might just forget HPA, and wear gloves, or at least a glove on my left hand.

And when you say +- 50 do you mean fluctuating 50 fps, or do you mean it jumped 100 fps at different point, because thats what +- 50 fps means, it goes up 50 and down 50 from a certain point.

Well, yesturday I used a Heavy Valve Spring and Light Main, I got it at 350psi at 290fps but would only recock if there was a paintball in the chamber. And like I said the consistancy was horid +/-50 going all over the place. I'll try my new combo when I go back, Modded Medium Valve and Light Main.

Sorry, if fluctuated 50fps :) I'm not exaggerating either, these were my chrono readings. 290..250..280..190..230..300.. I tried other HPA presets and did the same thing. And with Co2 I got something like this: 290..285..280..290..295.. Wierd huh?

Try someone else's N2 tank. What brand/size tank are you currently using?

Does it not have a inline reg capabilities...? I think you would be better off buying a older Spyder V/A and putting a Inline reg on it...

THis doesn't accept Spyder V/a, it's screw in like a cocker v/a

Alright. I'll consider getting a Torp or maybe a Stab. Thanks

Why not a CP?

Cause I want a reg that will accept both Co2 and HPA

Go for the stabilizer, I have 3 of them. For what you're looking for, a Palmer's or HP Max-flo is perfect. Hp Maxi's are tough to come by. If you choose the stabe, get it from here (www.countypaintball.com) -
