View Full Version : Sputtering

I aired up my Rodeo and it just sputters uncontrollably after the first shot. I took it apart a few weeks earlier, lubed it up, and put it back together. That was my first time messing with a rodeo but I use to have a old sonix. I screwed in the CO2 and the gauge was in just barely out of the red. I cocked it and shot but it sputtered untill the tank was out of gas....any ideas

Everything is screwed in tight. There are no leaks. I think it might be something with the front grip. There are two screws in the front grip that I screwed in tight.

This is a diagram of the Rodeo that I have. Theres a regulator screw that I tightened. Could that be the problem?

the reg adjustment screw part 35E on the diagram should be screwed out until the gauge reads in the green or 800 psi take a shot after each adjustment so the gauge reads correctly

Thanks, so if I fill up the tank and loosen the screw, everything should be ok?
