Spyders use 9.6v batteries to power their markers...your trying to use a 9.0v battery in its place

i know spyder uses 9.6v...but the MR2 works fine with the 9v.Would the 9v give me any problems or should i stick to the rechargeble?

I would suggest that you remove that 9volt battery from your gun. Two reasons. Spyder has designed their E-grips to use 9.6 volts, anyone using a 9volt battery will either do one of two things or both to your E-grip, Void your warranty, and burn up your solenoid valve on your board. If the solenoid does not receive more than 9volts it can not complete its full cycle rate, causing it to heat up. which eventually will cause it to burn out. I was at a pro shop in New Mexico, there was a kid in there arguing with the Tech, about his gun was under warranty through Kingman, turns out the kid had the gun sent back with a 9volt battery in the marker. Just my 2cents, but I would just order a new spyder battery.
