Run both. Co2 on Pilot and compressed air on ion. Hate the co2. Love the HPA. It's not even a competition.

I just bought my wife the pilot, so i'm probably gonna get her a CO2 tank, and myself the HPA lol. Gotta get the best stuff for me :D . out of curiosity, why do you like your HPA so much better than CO2? do most paintball fields offer HPA refills?

I like the HPA better because with HPA your gun will not freeze up and the pressure will not spike like with co2. Also, it costs 5 bucks to get a tank filled around here no matter what the size, and it cost 7 to fill a 20 oz. Also, I geuss I like it because you have a gauge and can tell how much is left in the tank. And you can get fiber tanks so they will be lighter. Most fields should fill compressed air tanks. All of them around here do.

HPA all the way. You dont have to worry about weather ailments... if it gets cold/damp out, your air isnt going to freeze up with the HPA. It is also much more consistant. You wont have the velocity spikes that you have with CO2. HPA is also cleaner. It wont eat away at your gun after a long period of usage.

HPA, but since im using my bros tanks for now im stuck using Co2 when he palys. But i have noticed longer range, more shots, and cheaper fills over Co2. And Co2 leaves a large smoke cloud after being shot in the woods and gives away my postion.

HPA FTW and FTC (Consistency :))

If you can get HPA where you play that is the way to go. C02 will work in a pinch, but get the tank anti-siphoned. Liquid C02 + O-Rings = ugly day of play.

HPA all the way!

i donno where you guys play, but all day air is included with entry at every field ive ever been to. co2 on the other hand is free at some, but more often than not you have to pay for co2. so depending on how much you play, around here HPA pays for itself in time.
