Sounds like the board jumper is loose or something. Make sure it's tightly secured in the board. Manuals? Try here http://www.spyder.tv/ -

The top of the three little lights is red and it is the low battery indicator...
The other two little ones are fast and slow firing rate.....
Dragon is right about the jumper...sounds like the 'Tournement Lock' jumper came loose or even off....
Make sure you are using a well charged 9.6v battery...your IPI 3.0 board doesn't like regular 9v batteries very much :)

I have charged my battery for atleast 12 hours overnight and the low battery light is still on.

power....did you have the marker turned off while it was charging? If so, replace the battery with another 9.6V rechargable. 160 would be the lowest mAh I'd get...200 would be the highest...

I've had that happen when using a low 9v. If you have the 9.6v, then use that, get 1 or 2 extra too.

Fried means just what it implies. You charged it too long regardless how old it is - ;)

no...it sounds like there's a signal problem in the board. Look at the board's capacitor and see if it's leaking any kind of fluid...or is "bulged" in any manner. If yes to both or either, replace the capacitor with one from radio shack. Take the board in to them so they know what to get you.
