well their teaser site for half life 2 portals is out, im pretty impressed/freaked out.


www.aperturescience.com is the link. thats a flash 8 command line simulation, if you cant type click on the page until you can.

to make things easier here are some hints:

you need to LOGON and enter any user name and your password to enter PORTALS dont forget to APPLY also pay attention for flickering letters, they are a sequence for a specail unlocked command after you log into the system. if you didnt get those insanely easy hints you could be stupid. enjoy the wierdest survey i have ever taken

ok heres the super easy hint since no1 is talking:

type "logon"
hit enter
type anything 3+ charicters as the name
hit enter
type "portals"
hit enter
type "apply"
hit enter
dont memorize the massive alphanumeric code
answer wierd questions.

when you are finnished, click refresh to go back to the start, do the logon, but instead of typeing apply type "thecakeisalie" (the cake is a lie - yea, i dont get it either) and read.

some speculate that is level 1 of portals, the goal? escape.

cool. I just got HL2 working on my Mac. :D Without having to install windows. Yay. I used a program called Crossover.

So after I beat Halflife, Halflife 2, and the other two HL2 addons, (Epsiode 1 and 2) I'll get to Portals!
Not sure that I wanna spoil the HL2 plot with just a preview....
