how come the stock valve spring seems heaiver than the gold heavy valve spring?

is it supposed to be like that?

I didn't notice that problem with my set. The gold spring seemed heavier than my stock silver spring to me.

I noticed the stock spring seemed stiffer to me than the gold spring as well. Sorry not much help answering your question.
