I'm a Winner!

I realize this is no big deal. I'm just bragging cause I NEVER win anything like this. Every once in a while I'll jump on ActionVillage and enter all of their giveaway contests. Looks like it finally paid off. I haven't received it yet, but I got the e-mail this weekend telling me that I have won one of the 20th Anniversary Tippmann 98 Customs.

Aside from the gold plated hardware, gloss black finish, and fancy barrel, it looks like its just going to be another 98 Custom. Comes with a certificate of authenticity, a custom display stand, and should be stamped with a serial number to prove that its one of the "limited edition" markers in the run of 3000 they've made to commemorate their anniversay. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet. I might buy a CO2 bottle and actually play around with it. Might keep it in the box like a collector's item. Might attempt to sell it or trade it for something I'll actually use. Who knows.

At this point, I'm just excited that I actually won something!

My friend's shop has one that they just keep on display, it isn't for sale. Its a nice looking mantle piece I guess you could say. I'd just keep it for display, I wouldn't use it. It may be worth something to a tippy fanboy idiot one day. :)

If I decide to keep it, I think it will never come out of the box. Collector's items like this will only achieve their maximum value if you never open the box (hence the phrase "NIB")
