I don't know if you guys have heard or not, but Oklahoma and Texas have been in the middle of a major drought for quite awhile. It's also been unseasonably warm and there have been several wildfires going at any given day. Here in NW Oklahoma, we've been breaking previous high record temps for several weeks. Yesterday it was in the 70's for example, and over the past few weeks has been in the mid to high 70's, even hitting the mid 80's once. It's also been EXTREMELY windy, which help fuel the fires and such.

So, anyways, today I came home sick, and it was unusually chilly out. I slept all afternoon. Around 6:30, my wife came home and said it was SNOWING outside! SNOW!! It was 73 degrees yesterday! I figured it was just a little spitting, so a few minutes ago, took a couple of boxes to my backyard shed. We have close to 5 inches of thick powdery snow on the ground. I'm just not believing the weather at all this year. It's not all that cold out, but after the weather we've been seeing, it's pretty amazing.

And a weather warning just came across the bottom of my computer screen. "Winter Weather Alert!" WOW!!!

Last year at christmas in southern IN we had almost a record snowstorm! This year I could have shown up in a tshirt and short's.

At noon today it felt great. Right when I got off work it was back to being cold! Crazy stuff!

I'm just ready for summer!

It's cool because the white specs in the pic is the flash reflecting off of falling snow! I took that from the doorway because I didn't want to go out into the snow....

Ok how come no one told Chicago. It's 36* here.

JK. Yeah it is unseasonably warm for a January. We are usually at 30* below and 3ft of snow. Mother Nature is getting ready to dump on us majorly. I bet its gonna happen on a Friday when I am rushing home. Or maybe she is waiting for me to get my winter snow tires so I don't get into an accident. I'll take the latter.

If you lived in Michigan, that would like business as usual. One day in shorts the next a snowsuit -

We're in the 70's & 80's right now during the day. It does get down into the high 40's at night occasionally. One of my boys and his g/f were here last week and they hit the perfect week. It was like in the 70's at night -

Well, just woke up and the weather guy said we had about 8-9 inches of snow, how screwy is that! But it'll be up in the 60's today, so around lunch it'll all be bye-bye. Good ol' Oklahoma! By the way, Okies, the burn ban is still on - can't even do outdoor grilling!

I watched the weather last night before I went to bed and they are predicting mid 70's as high for the next 10 days here. Low's are going to be in the upper 40's. So yeah it kind of cold around here too all the sudden.:D

I need to apologize to those in the Northern VA, DC Metro area... We will not have snow and it is my fault.

I bought a new house and had to go out and buy a brandy new snow blower. Murphy's law that I will not have to fire it up....

episode 908, i think it is the first since the season returned.

"Original air Date: 2005-10-19
A GLOBAL WARMING STATE OF EMERGENCY is declared in South Park. The world's largest beaver dam breaks and floods the adjacent town of Beaverton. As the victims wait for help to arrive, everyone in South Park tackles priority number one: who is to blame? Only Stan and Cartman know who’s really at fault."
