I actually modded my own gravity hopper and I have a video with a drop test.

I know it's a gravity hopper, but you have to admit it's pretty consistant!
Enjoy :)

I cant even do that with my gravity hopper you have to shake it like 8 times. Does it do that every time or you just got lucky when you were filming it.

I added something to make it consistant. Fairly easy actually and inexpensive!

A thread about something you added to a hopper without telling us what it is:tdown:

Not to mention, this isn't really news, you may want to stick this in the Custom section... This isn't really news...

This is the design... not to scale.

You really only lose about 20 balls.

I tried it with mine but it just jammed more because the sides jammed one ball and only the center one moved. Can you get a pic of inside the hopper and then of it split?

cool concept, I've thought of a bunch of ways to improve feedrate, but I don't have a grav hopwper to work with...

is the ramp like curved, or is it just straight at an angel?

Opteron-O3

straight at an angle

GET THOSE PICS NOW!!!! I tried it on my revy. It made it kinda like a semi force fed loader except the balls were falling faster the eyes could see them so they acted like theres still balls in the feed neck making it slower than it already was. It still looks like it works good for a gravity hopper.

Have you seen the Archon gravity feed hopper? You can get them on E-bay for around $10. I just ordered one actually. I'll let you know how it is. Anyone used these?

Yeah, a couple guys at work have the Archon. They are slightly better than a normal gravity fed, but still not as great as the auction description claims. One of the guys recently went with the Halo Backman. You can get these for about $50. They are pretty excited about it, so far.

yeah the archon has been working great for me, even with the ****tiest balls created on the face of the earth, it only jammed once in 8 hours, and it actually does fire around 9-10 bps, its really weird
